Dealing with this whole bank fraud thing.

Hopefully this week will be better than last week. What with my father being on the hit list of some psycho, and some asshole draining our checking and savings account, I think I can safely say that last week sucked ass. A lot.

Yesterday Rob and I slept in (we really needed it) and in the early evening headed to the Promenade in Santa Monica. We walked around for a bit and I picked up some lip gloss in Sephora. With my hair color change I needed something a bit darker than the light pinks that worked well when I was ash blonde. We looked in a few other stores and I also got a new mouse pad - it's an orange bunny with a cigarette hanging out of it's mouth.

We decided to once again do Buca for dinner. On the way there we stopped in at The Coffee Bean for some drinks. They have a new drink in for a limited time. It's a lavander mint tea (you can get it warm or ice blended). Wow. That has to be the best drink I've ever had in my life. Rob's not a big fan of tea like I am, but even he loved it. I think we're going to be getting it some more before it goes away.

Dinner was had at Buca and once again we loved it. Dessert was done as a take out order at Cafe Crepe. This time I tried a Nutella crepe. Damn, it was tasty. When we were done with dessert we headed back home.

So, onto an update on our financial situation. Rob went to the main branch of our bank today and they were all over themselves apologizing to him. He wondered why they did that, and I told him it's because they didn't catch an odd pattern of withdrawals for FOUR DAYS. Not cool. The money is pending return to our account. We should get it back, but we don't have it back yet. We still can't access either account because we don't yet have a new ATM card. Rob was able to access online banking today and get a print out of all recent transactions from both accounts. He highlighted the fradulent ones and we're heading to the police station tonight with them to file a report. Hopefully, we should soon have access to our money, have our money back, and this nightmare will all be over with. The sooner it's all over with, the better. Remember that whole thing about staying stress free to keep my heart condition from getting worse? Yeah, last week has not helped that in the least. I need a vacation or something fun. Rob and I are thinking of doing a day trip to Solvang the last Sunday of this month. I hope we can do it and that it's not raining then. Both of us just need to RELAX!

You are Nebkheperure Tutankhamen. Everybody knows you. You try too hard to please people sometimes, and tend to give in to other's demands. You need to learn to stand up for yourself and not be manipulated. A warning, however: such inner strength often comes with consquences! Choose your battles carefully.
