Last night Rob and I headed to the Cingular Wireless store down on Ventura Blvd. (the one that used to be the AT&T store) so that I could get him his b-day present. While he liked his old phone because it had a fold out keyboard, it was getting rather old and he was unhappy being with AT&T now that they're gone and Cingular customers get many more benefits. So, we headed there so he could look at phones and plans.

After looking at all the phones he decided he wanted a Motorola v551 (the same phone I have). I haven't had any problems with mine and I love it. It also has pretty much everything (with the exception of a death ray) that he wanted on a phone. I'm pretty sure that no phone (with the possible exception of the Razr) has a death ray. Maybe that's something phone companies should look into. I think there would be a large market for a death ray cell phone. I know I'd buy one. He switched his phone number over to Cingular and got the new phone hooked up. I bought him the phone and a car charger as his b-day present. Last night when he was sleeping and I was having a bout of insomnia I programmed his address book and set his wallpaper with a picture of Amber.

After getting the phone we headed down Ventura to Barone's for dinner. Dinner was yummy and when we were done we made a stop in Ralph's to get Rob a b-day cake. He wanted a Carvel ice cream cake. Then, we came home and deflied our newly clean sheets. Three times.

Today Rob was silly and went to work. I keep calling him telling him he should leave early. He should not be at work on his 30th b-day. Silly man. Tonight we're meeting up with Berek and Pita for dinner. Should be fun!
