I just found out that we've had a death in the family. Extended family, but I still knew her.

My Aunt Pam (related to me through marriage to my Uncle Kim who is my Mom's younger brother) had her Grandmother pass away yesterday. From what I know of the situation, Pam was close to Effie (her Grandmother) and a bit estranged from her Mother.

I had met Effie several times when I was at Kim and Pam's house. The last time was a few years ago (and Rob met her too) when we had Christmas dinner at their house. She was one month away from turning 97.
