Last night Rob and I headed out to a Hallmark store. A few days ago we looked for Father's Day cards at the drug store, but they all were lame. So, we headed to Hallmark and found a card we both liked for our Dads there. After the card store we headed to Souplantation for dinner. I'm still under the weather (now it's mostly bronchitis, coughing up slugs, and laryngitis) and soup and salad sounded amazing. There were a ton and a half of people there, but it was worth it. Their chicken noodle soup is so yummy. After dinner we headed back home, watched the news, and went to bed.

Today I've been trying to get ahold of my Dad again. I spoke with his secretary again and she said he was out of the office all day. *sigh* He was there yesterday and didn't call me back and I know even when he's out of the office that he checks his voice mail on a regular basis. We really need to get rolling on these tickets. We can't hire the cat sitter (she's currently available for the dates we need her) until we have the tickets and know for sure we're heading out there. And we can't confirm the dates with Rob's boss until then either. Hopefully, he'll call me sometime next week.

As you all know I usually change my journal color and picture on a regular basis. Well, I'd like to thank my super talented hubby Rob for providing me with the picture that's up there now. I think he did an excellent job of drawing Demogorgon's symbol. Thanks sweetie!
