I already put the instructions up in the posting where I answered Kenny's questions. Basically, if you want five questions from me to post in your journal, just ask.

These questions are the ones that Rob gave to me.

1. It's been years since you did any sort of screenwriting, and you've mentioned you wouldn't want to do it now. If given a good chance for a big break in it, would you dust off the keyboard and take another shot? Why or why not?

Depends on how good the chance was for a "big break". If I was guaranteed to either get an agent or have a script bought, then yes, I would write another screenplay. The main reason I don't anymore is because I completely burned out on it. I wrote and wrote and wrote for four years in college and then for four years after college and had nothing to show for it. No agent, no deals, nothing. It's not worth the time and effort for nothing. So unless I was guaranteed that something would come from my efforts, then there is no way I would do it again.

2. If you could re-kindle one old tie with a person who you've long since lost contact with, who would it be and why?

Wow, just one? I could think of many. I'd love to get back in touch with the people I hung out with in college (other filmic writers). I'd also love to get back in touch with some of my old high school friends. But just one, eh?
In that case it would probably be Becky Figel. She was a super close friend of mine in high school. We had a falling out towards the end of high school because a girl was spreading rumors about me since her boyfriend had a crush on me. Becky believed these rumors and stopped speaking to me. To this day I don't know what that girl said to Becky that caused her to not speak to me anymore (Becky never told me). I'd love to know what happened and find out where she is in her life now.

3. What would you do for a Klondike bar?

Go across the street to Ralph's and buy one. That's about it. None of those weird stunts people do on the commercials. Besides, Klondike bars aren't even very good.

4. What's the thing about living in Chicago you miss the most? The least?

The thing I miss the most is the city itself. Being in a real city and not an urban sprawl. Being in a city that has a soul and not one that sucks your soul out and is an overglorified ghetto. Chicago feels like "home" to me and it always has. I miss being somewhere that feels like "home".
The thing I miss the least is the weather. It's hot and humid in the summer and super cold in the winter. Granted, I'm a penguin, but it can even get too cold for me out there!

5. What drives you postal? We're not talking mild annoyance here. We're talking full-on, pickaxe-in-a-crowded-shopping-mall crazy. I mostly want to know so I don't do it. ;)

First and foremost, doing anything to hurt an animal. That's enough to get me to chase someone with a pickaxe.
Also, telling me what to do or telling me I shouldn't have done something after I already did it. Telling me what to do is the best way in the world to get me to never do something (especially if I keep getting nagged about it). Telling me I shouldn't have done something that I already did is useless. It's done, deal with it.
