2005-07-01 1:58 PM Hanging At Good Sam Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: My allergies are acting up big time. Read/Post Comments (1) Yesterday I got up at 7am and left the house around 9am. I had an 11:30am doctor's appointment over at Good Sam. After the appointment I hung out at Rob's work and tried my best not to curl up on the floor behind him and sleep. I was tempted though. I read through an entire Marie Claire magazine and then still had three hours left to burn. So, I stared to get creative. I made eyes, horns, and a mouth for Rob's computer mouse and taped them on there to make him an "evil mouse". With two pieces of paper, a stapler, a marker, and a box of tissue I made him a puffy mouse pad that read "Bobert's Evil Mouse". I also started cutting out things from the magazine (eyes, nose, mouth, etc.) and made a rather strange looking sponge-monkeyesque face on his desk. While I thwarted the temptation to sleep in his office, I went right along with my impulse to be crazy. When 4:30pm (or a bit thereafter) rolled around we headed out of the hospital and came home. We were both damn tired, so we took a nap from the time we got home until a little after 8pm. We then ordered in foodage from Panera (which took forever and they even got our order wrong), gamed, watched the news and some shows on the food network (Good Eats and Iron Chef), and went to bed. Today we had wanted to head up to Solvang for the day, but when the alarm went off we prefered to sleep in. So, it'a a little after 2pm now and we have no idea what we're going to do as of yet. We've mulled ideas around (Disneyland, Medieval Times, dinner out, seeing if we can get a room for the night in Solvang, etc.) but haven't come up with anything concrete as of yet. ----------
