As those of you who read Rob's journal know - he has been summoned for jury duty. That's gotten me to thinking. I really, really, hope I don't get called until I'm working and everything is settled with the baby. Going while pregnant would be a nightmare and being summoned right after the baby is born (or when I'm trying to job hunt in another state) would be near impossible. Let's hope those legal gods out there like me enough to wait until I'm working and the baby is no longer a newborn before summoning me again. I have a bad feeling about it though. They always try to summon me at the worst possible times (finals, my honeymoon, during the bar exam, etc.). Keep your fingers crossed for me.
Last night I was jonesing for a salad. So, we headed to Souplantation for dinner. I didn't eat much other than the salad. I tried, but nothing tasted good. The salad was amazing though. Guess I just needed an uber-dose of veggies. After dinner we made a run to The Game Zone to get some more packs of Hecatomb, the new card game we're becoming addicted to. Next time we're in Lionheart I'm going to talk to Lenny about the game - apparently they don't carry it. Just curious why because I'd rather buy from them than from The Game Zone. After that we came home and watched the news and "Good Eats", played some Hecatomb, and went to bed. Had some annoying happenings last night, but it's not something I want to go into detail about on a public entry. I'll post privately in a bit.
