2005-11-19 4:42 PM Sydney's Problem Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: A bit worried about my kittay. Read/Post Comments (0) Last night was our D&D game. Due to a conflict of schedules, it's been quite awhile since we last gamed. Last night everyone was able to make it (which surprised me since the new Harry Potter movie just opened and a lot of our gaming group members are rabid fans). We splattered a gnome, killed some frost giants, and generally got back into the swing of things. The game was fun and Sydney seemed to like being able to once again lick Bryce's head. Not much is going on today so far. I have no idea what we're going to do and the day is almost over. We toyed with the idea of going to the King Tut exhibit late this evening, but it's all sold out. We'll figure something out. Right now I'm a bit worried about Sydney. Last night he was acting like his normal spastic self, but today, not so much. Rob and I were in the bedroom and heard the cats fighting in the living room. When we let Sydney into the bedroom he seemed as if he really wanted to come onto the bed with us, but every time he tried to jump up he just backed off. We put him up there and he was happy. Then when we were eating lunch Sydney wanted some ham, but wouldn't do his usual rising on two legs thing to get it. It looks like he might have hurt something when Amber beat him up. Or it could be his other knee (he had knee surgery when he was three and I was told the other one would need it at some point) starting to go. Either way, he's walking around just fine, it only seems to be trouble when he wants to jump up onto something or rise onto two legs. We'll keep an eye on him and see if it starts to heal on its own. If not, we'll probably take him into the vet's at some point. ----------
