Night In Montclair

Mood:
Kind of tired as usual.

Last night Rob and I headed out to the Montclair area. There were some things we wanted to do out there, and oddly enough Rob didn't mind dealing with the Friday night traffic on the freeway. He was right about one thing - not much is worse than the 405 on a Friday night. Our trip to Montclair wasn't all too bad unlike that fateful night we foolishly tried to get down to Torrance.

Our first stop was at Lionheart Games (which we haven't been to in awhile). We said hi to Lenny, updated him on the baby, and Rob got the new D&D book "Races of the Dragon". From there we headed to Linens N Things to pick up a waterproof mattress pad. I want to make sure our mattress is protected just in case my water breaks while in bed. While I know this isn't likely to happen, I don't want to be one of the few people who it does happen to considering we have a fairly new and expensive mattress on our bed. Carmen and a few other people had suggested using trash bags and towels, but there's no way I could sleep on that. Besides, the waterproof mattress pad is a good idea for baby spills and cat pee (you all know what Amber does when she gets on the bed) as well.

After going to the stores we needed to we went to Golden China for dinner. As long as I don't have any rice, Chinese food seems to give me excellent numbers. Dinner was yummy and we headed home from there. At home we cleaned out the top shelf of my closet, chilled out for a bit, and went to bed.

You Are a Boston Creme Donut
You have a tough exterior. No one wants to mess with you.
But on the inside, you're a total pushover and completely soft.
You're a traditionalist, and you don't change easily.
You're likely to eat the same doughnut every morning, and pout if it's sold out.
