2006-02-08 3:24 PM Golden Pedi Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Nervous Read/Post Comments (3) Last night Rob and I went out and got pedis. I really needed one and thought it best to try and fit it in before Gabriel's here. I have a feeling this is the last time Rob and I will be getting them done together. From now on we're going to have to split them up so one of us watches Gabriel while the other gets the pedi done. Not a big. I wanted to get my toes done blue (since I'm going to be having a baby boy very soon), but they didn't have any blue polishes in this time. So, I picked a pretty gold color that I liked. After the pedis we headed home. We ordered in Thai food for dinner (which turned out to be a mistake) and just chilled out around the house. The stuff I ordered from the Thai place nearly made me throw up. Yeah, I was kind of dumb to order a chicken based dish, but it sounded good at the time. The chicken was rubbery and almost made me hurl. This was bad because I had already eaten some fries and rice by then and I need protein to balance out my carbs for the GD. I was too nauseous to do anything other than suck on a few sugar free popsicles. I was really worried about having a high dinner number so I tested at one hour and was normal. The high end of normal, but normal nonetheless. This surprised the hell out of me, but hey, I'm not gonna argue with that! Today I'm getting more laundry done. I'm currently doing laundry, stuff online, and attempting to drink a diet cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper. I say attempting because with the relaxin working the way it is, I already managed to get a good part of it down the front of my shirt. Joy. At least my body seems to be producing enough relaxin to get me through the labor (I hope). Unfortunately, I can't hold onto anything for the life of me and have absolutely no grace anymore. Tomorrow I have another OB appointment. I'll keep you all informed of what's going on. ----------
