2006-04-14 11:25 AM Catching Up With Old Friends Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Happy Read/Post Comments (0) Yesterday Rob was amazing. He not only came home during his lunch time to bring me food, but he also stuck around for a little bit to watch Gabriel so that I could shower. He knew I needed to get one in before we headed out last night. He rocks! When Rob got home from work last night we got ready, put Gabriel in his car seat, and headed out to the Louise's on Pico. Recently an old college friend of mine who I had lost touch with (Pete) started up a Yahoo mailing list for all of the Filmic Writers from the class of 1996 he could find. I was thrilled. I was finally able to get back in touch with a lot of people who I had fallen out of touch with and had tried to find. Through that list Tony mentioned he would be in town with his daughter this week. So, we tried to get a group to meet up. Unfortunately due to work schedules and people being out of town only Tony, Christine, and I were able to meet up, but it was so worth it to be able to catch up a bit (I haven't seen anyone from my class for ten years). Rob, Gabriel, and I were the first to get there so we waited outside. Christine then got there followed shortly by Tony and his daughter Peyton. We headed in to get a table and when we were seated just spent the time catching up. Rob liked them both and thought they were very friendly. It was so nice to see them again and I can't wait to see others from my class. This time I'm determined not to lose touch again. All in all it was a great time. The time flew by and before we knew it, it was 10pm! We parted ways and Rob, Gabriel, and I headed home. Today the in-laws (with the exception of John) are flying in. I don't know what we're doing with them tonight and this week, but whatever it is it should be fun. I haven't seen them since the wedding so I'm very excited that they're coming out here to see us and Gabriel. ----------
You scored 29 nervousness! You have mood swings, don't you? Sometimes you scream and bite people, sometimes you're cute and star in children's shows from Japan.
