Yesterday someone hit Rob's car and messed the side up pretty badly (and didn't bother leaving a note). There's a small dent, but there's also red and white paint streaks all over the place. It looks like someone hit him either coming into or going out of a parking spot. We're both really pissed off about this. We're going to see if we can get the paint off and go from there.

Last night Rob, Gabriel, and I headed over to the Days Inn after his family got back from Santa Barbara. They hopped into their car and followed us up to The Cheesecake Factory on Ventura and Sepulveda. We met up in the parking lot and headed to the restaurant. Surprisingly, the wait was only about 20 minutes for a table for six people with room for a stroller. Dinner was good and it was nice being able to hang with them again before they left LA. Rob and I had a great time and Gabriel spent most of the time sleeping (of course this meant he didn't want to go to sleep at bed time). After dinner we hugged and parted ways and they headed back to their hotel and we headed back to our apartment.

Today they're all flying back to New York. Carrie's coming by around noonish to hang out with Gabriel and myself (she's bringing lunch which means I'll get to eat and shower - woot!). Right now I'm having issues with my e-mail. I keep trying to send new pictures of Gabriel to my Mom, but it won't let me send them. It keeps timing out or just sitting there and trying to send it but doing nothing. I hope I can figure this out eventually becuase it would suck to no longer be able to send pictures to anyone.

Discover Your Past Life

Dostoevsky was dark, brooding, alcoholic, and had a MASSIVE gambling problem. It's alright though, he was a delicate soul with an intense desire to explore the human condition. You probably have that same understanding of the human condition, or at least the desire to understand it. Dostoevsky probably stuck around in your subconscious, giving you the gift of words, whether on paper or verbally. The bad news is that you now have no excuse for disliking Crime and Punishment.
