Saturday night Rob and I decided to stay in, game, watch some TV, and order in Chinese food. Neither of us were up for going out anywhere.

Yesterday we got to hang out with Berek and Pita (and they got to meet Gabriel for the first time). They got to our place around 11am and once everyone was ready the five of us headed to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. We had a great day. We stopped off in their cafe to grab some lunch and when we were done eating we fed Gabriel. From there we went to look at the fish. We were able to do the whole Aquarium inside and out even though it was very crowded. The Longhorned Cowfish are still my absolute favorite and one of the babies had gotten bigger. They are so cute! I really liked the new "Dazzling and Dangerous" exhibit and spent some time watching a rattlesnake (I love snakes). The rays seemed to like Gabriel. Gabriel liked pretty much everything there and loved watching the fish. The only thing he didn't like were the jellyfish. Every time we wheeled his stroller up to a jellyfish tank he'd have a fit. When we were done looking around the Aquarium we headed into the gift shop where Rob bought Gabriel a stuffed blue seahorse. It was around closing time then so we headed out.

When we got back to our place Berek and Pita hung out for a bit and then headed out. After they left Rob and I ordered some pizza and just chilled out around the house. We were both really tired, but unfortunately Gabriel was not. While flipping around on the TV we noticed we had a preview weekend of one of the premium DirecTv packages. Interestingly enough, we found an episode of the old Dungeons and Dragons cartoon on one of the cartoon channels that we don't normally have. I really hope they bring those to DVD at some point. That show rocked and I think both Rob and I would love showing that to Gabriel down the road.

So far today has been INSANE. Gabriel has been crying non-stop and I've been going back and forth between him and the laundry. This is the first I've had to sit down and just take a breather. I'm sure it won't last. I've been up since Rob left for work and didn't sleep very well last night. I'm exhausted and would give almost anything to just be able to curl up and get some sleep. I'm so tired. I could seriously just curl up at the keyboard and take a nap. I don't think that's going to happen though because Gabriel is pissed off at something and keeps having screaming fits. *sigh* So yeah, my day so far is nuts and doesn't seem like it's going to improve anytime soon. I can't wait until Rob gets home from work.
