Better, But Still Tired

For the most part I'm feeling a lot better. My cold is gone and almost all the crap is out of my lungs. I'll occasionally cough up a "slug" or two, but it's a lot better than it was last week. The problem that I was having from meds I was on has stopped and the side effects are slowly but surely getting better. I'm having some nasty stomach problems today, but I chalk that more up to having Manwich for dinner last night than anything else. Unfortunately, because of the stomach problems I didn't sleep well last night and found myself in the bathroom more than in the bed. So I'm still pretty damn exhausted.

Gabriel is also doing better. He's still super fussy, but he doesn't seem to be sick anymore. Looks like he had a light brush with the cold and then fought it off. I really hope this means he inhereted his Dad's immune system. I wouldn't wish mine on anyone. He's still spending most of the day screaming, but I have a feeling he's teething and not happy about it. That, or he realizes that it gets him attention when he throws a fit.

Our apartment is having serious problems cooling down during the day. We have all of our blinds closed to aid the air conditioner, but it still can't keep up with the heat from outside. I am not looking forward to the summer months when it's regularly over 100 out. I'm gonna melt.

Last night we stayed in, cooked dinner, and had TV (Hell's Kitchen I believe) on in the background while we played with Gabe, fed him, bathed him, and tried to get him to go to sleep.
