My head's doing better. It still hurts where I whacked it, but I remembered all of yesterday and am now as lucid as can be expected with a lack of sleep and a baby in the house. Gabriel's been a bit fussy as of late and Rob and I both noticed he's eating a lot. We're thinking he might be going through another growth spurt. Now that he knows he can turn himself over, we find him on his tummy all of the time. I am a bit concerned about this, but he seems to have good head control and his head is always up when he's on his belly. The doctor mentioned to us that his turning over in the middle of the night puts him at higher risk for crib death and so we now use a sleep positioner on him so that he can't turn over. During the day when I can watch him I pretty much let him get into whatever position is comfortable for him.

Last night both Rob and I were tired so we stayed around the house and watched some TV (Inked and So You Think You Can Dance) while playing with Gabriel. It's just easier for us to be at home for things like feedings and diaper changes. Plus when we're both tired neither of us feels like venturing out much. It's scary though, we went from watching almost no TV before Gabriel to pretty much watching it every night. Granted we're not paying super close attention to anything, but it's nice to have some background noise on while playing with the baby.
