Last night I had to take my car out so we went out to pick up some dinner and came right back home. We spent the rest of the night hanging out with Gabriel and watching some TV (Hell's Kitchen and part of Super Troopers). Rob developed a really bad headache so we just kind of chilled out with the lights dimmed and the TV on.

This morning Gabriel started baby babbling a bit, that lead to the hiccups as it always does, and that led to him throwing up a little as it also always does. However, this time he also started giggling so instead of having nasty curdled milk drool out of his mouth, it came out of his nose. He was not a happy baby. Poor little guy. He's fine now, but didn't like that one bit.

In about two hours Rob should be having his phone interview with the hospital in Wisconsin that he's been in touch with. I realize they might not make the offer today even if they want him, but it would be cool. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him. This could provide us with a way out of LA, and that's something we've wanted for awhile. Though I realized recently that it's not necessarily the city of LA that I hate (though the high cost of living certainly does suck), it's a lot of the people in it. They're just so incredibly rude. There are some notable exceptions, but sadly enough I haven't seen much good at all in the people I don't know around here. Also, neither Rob nor myself feels like this is a good place to raise Gabriel. It's just a choice of ours. Anyway, here's hoping that interview goes well!
