Friday night the three of us headed over to the mall in Sherman Oaks. I picked up some face wash and face lotion that I needed at Sephora and then headed to Lane Bryant to pick up a new lounge outfit (my strawberry one got so threadbare that it ripped open and I no longer had a left leg). I found a cute blue one. We grabbed dinner at the food court (The Great Steak and Potato Company) and then headed back home.

By the time Saturday morning rolled around I was in desperate need of sleep. Exhaustion had set in on Friday night and when I tried to get up with Rob on Saturday morning I was shaking and dizzy. I went back to bed and Rob took Gabriel to his doctor's appointment. I needed the extra sleep. The appointment went fine and he doesn't have an ear infection. The doctor thinks the tugging on the ear is either from teething or just a security thing. Gabriel's doing well height and weight wise and is now on the high side of 12 pounds (12 pounds, 14 ounces I believe). Rob said he was very well behaved the entire time and didn't even cry even though he had two shots. Wow. The doctor said we have a very healthy baby who's doing great. That's the best thing I could ever hope to hear. He's also advanced both physically (being able to roll over either way) and mentally (already having named his favorite toy).

When Rob got home we both showered and got ready and then headed out to the Babies R Us in Ontario. We picked up some more scented discs for the diaper pail and more Iggys. When Iggy was in the wash the other day Gabriel had a fit the entire time it was gone. Rob and I realized that if Iggy was ever destroyed or lost we'd be doomed. So, we picked up some more Iggys to have on hand just in case. After Babies R Us we made a stop at Lollycup Boba and then headed to Golden China for dinner. After dinner we headed back home.

Sunday was a day spent lounging around the house. We both slept in as much as Gabriel would let us and then we just chilled out around here. We played with Gabriel, played some rounds of D&D minis (Rob kicked the ass out of my undead team, but my evil outsider team was able to beat him in the second game), gamed a bit, and ordered in Chinese food. Lazy days around the house are great, especially with a baby. It's a lot easier to do diaper duty and feed him when we're here than when we're out.

Today it's back to the usual weekday stuff. Taking care of Gabriel and doing tons of laundry.
