Last night Rob and I needed to take my car out, so we figured we might as well get some errands done. I made an ATM run and then I went into the drug store for some things while Rob picked up dinner for us at Subway. After the errands we headed home, watched some TV (Miami Ink, Fear Factor, Last Comic Standing, and The Craft), and gamed a bit. I also took some pictures of Gabriel's duck butt and will post them on here (along with some pictures of Iggy) once everything is loaded up onto the computer.

After Gabriel's night time bath last night Rob put him on the bed and he rolled over onto his tummy. I told him to come to me and he tried, but just wasn't strong enough to crawl. He stopped for a second and looked like he was thinking. A wicked smile came across his face and he scooted himself so he wasn't facing me anymore, his body was parallel with me. He then proceeded to roll over to me. When he got to me he cuddled my leg. He is so damn cute sometimes and I think he just figured out that he can move if he just keeps on rolling. He's going to be a terror when he can walk.

This morning during his nap (which he actually took today) I had to keep an eye on him. He no longer likes to sleep on his back. He'll usually sleep on his side, which is fine. But sometimes he flips completely over and sleeps on his tummy. While he looks very comfortable doing this, it still freaks me out a bit because I know that it puts him at a higher risk for SIDS. I also know if I flip him to his back he'll wake up and be very unhappy. So I'm keeping a regular eye on him when he naps on his tummy. Yeah, I know, paranoid Mommy. But I think I'm allowed to be so when it comes to my son.
