Nighttime Rolling Wars

Gabriel seems to prefer sleeping on his tummy to any other position. Every time I see him doing this I roll him back over, but he ends up rolling himself back soon after. While I am confident in his capabilities to roll himself to whatever position he wants to be in, I also know that sleeping on his stomach at this age puts him at a higher risk for SIDS and that tends to have me a bit worried. So, for now, every time I wake up at night Gabriel and I have a bit of a rolling battle and I hope I don't wake him up in the process.

Last night Rob and I stayed in. We watched TV (Hex, Master of Champions, and So You Think You Can Dance) and did some gaming. Gabriel was very fussy during his night time bottle and had some problems falling asleep so we both ended up getting to bed late. Jawbreaker was on TV so at least there was something to watch while Gabriel was fussy. Eventually he did manage to fall asleep.

Not much is going on here today. Gabriel is watching Teletubbies which gives me the time to get this entry done. I have a bit more laundry to do but then this week's worth is out of the way. I'm sure there will be much more come Monday. Tonight I need to get my car out and I also need to pick up some of my prescriptions so I'll probably make a drug store run at some point. Nothing super interesting is going on, I'm just doing things that need to be done.
