Gabriel liked carrots on Friday when he first tried them. Not so much yesterday or today. Both days he made sour faces and spit them out. He does still like the rice cereal and we gave him some before bed last night in the hopes that he would sleep through the night like he did Friday night. No such luck. He slept for a little bit and then went into his usual pattern of sleeping only on Daddy and screaming when he was put into his crib. So much for that theory. *sigh* Yesterday we headed down to Torrance. It took us two hours to get down there because the 405 was a complete parking lot. Ugh. I hate LA traffic. Can we move yet? Please? Anyway, even though it took a very long time, we did manage to make it down there. We went to Third Planet where I picked up some out of print Ravenloft source books that they had in stock (the rest I'll try and hunt down online). I also made a run into Office Depot for some mechanical pencils. From there we went to Mervyn's so that Rob could pick up some work shirts. Then we grabbed foodage at Long John Silver's. Rob managed to hit the underside of his car on a huge speed bump, but so far everything seems to be all right. I needed food something fierce and was having a massive blood sugar crash. I could barely stand, was disoriented, and had the shakes. The food helped a lot. We then headed to Babies R Us for some necessities (diapers, formula, new pacifiers, etc.) and found out that the cashiers at that Babies R Us are some of the most retarded people on the planet. The cashier couldn't figure out how to ring up our cases of formula and kept insisting that we couldn't buy cases... just individual cans. *sigh* I hate stupid people. After dealing with stupid people at the baby store we grabbed some ice cream at Cold Stone (I was still a bit shaky and that fixed me right up) and headed back home. The drive home only took half an hour. All yesterday I still battled with my headache. At some points it was almost gone and at some points I thought my head was going to explode. It sucks. I even lied down for a bit when we got home because I couldn't stand any lights or any movements. Oh, and on that note, sunlight is NOT my friend with this headache. I was extremely intolerant to the light yesterday when we went out (even more so than usual). Sunlight + horrible headache that won't go away completely = BAD. Ugh. On the bright side, my finger is much better. The green is gone, the dead skin peeled away, and the new skin is getting less sensitive. ----------
