Last night we stayed in. My headache came back and Rob was super tired so we just chilled out. We ordered in from Jerry's, watched Miami Ink and Big Brother, bathed the Poopchuck, etc. Gabriel still hates the carrots and likes the rice cereal. He had rice cereal and a big bottle before bed and woke up in the middle of the night. Ugh. He also peed through his outfit. He's been doing that a lot recently. Just peeing through his diaper and soaking his sleepwear and sheet with pee. The diapers seem to hold up fine during the day, but not at night. He's currently a size 2 for diapers and is in Pampers Swaddlers. I know the Cruisers will be better when he's big enough for them (the Swaddlers are more for babys on their backs and he's almost always on his tummy by his choice), but he's still too small to be in Cruisers which begin at size 3. Other brands (Huggies, Luvs, etc.) just don't fit him. They're too big in the leg area and won't hold anything. We're thinking about trying Pampers Baby Dry for the overnight diaper. We didn't like those because they're rough and have no stretch to them, but maybe they'll hold up better through the night. It's worth a try.

Gabriel did not sleep through the night last night. Both Rob and I are tired as all hell. Gabriel slept from about midnight until around 3am. 3 hours of sleep just doesn't cut it for us, especially when we're already sleep depped to begin with. I at least have sugar free Red Bull on hand to chug. Rob is caffeine deprived because the coffee maker at his office is broken.

So far today has had one really good thing and one really bad thing. The really good thing is that the hospital Rob has his interview with decided they could do a one hour phone interview as his follow up since getting out there so quickly is proving to be a pain in the ass. The bad news is that I just ate something I'm allergic to. I nuked up a Risotto that Rob brought home from the store yesterday for lunch. It semi exploded in the microwave and smelled like Gabriel's vomit. I decided to taste it to see how bad it was, and it tasted fine. Halfway through eating it I read the ingredients. One of them is blue cheese. I'm horribly allergic to blue cheese. Not as bad as shellfish or salmon, but still pretty bad. I just popped a Benedryl (and had my regular allergy pill this morning) and am closely watching myself. If I start having breathing problems or my neck starts to swell or if I have any other life threatening symptoms, I'm calling 911. Hopefully the Benedryl will take care of it since I caught it soon. I also took an extra puff of my preventative inhaler (and have my rescue one nearby as well). Here's to hoping that my medications can counter what I ate and that they didn't put too much blue cheese in that damn Risotto. I'm going to go now and drink as much water as possible to try and dilute this crap and flush it out of my system.

You Are Midtown
You love so many things, you don't fit into any one label.
Your city girl persona goes to a fancy restaurant one night and a dive bar the next.
