I'll be answering them shortly. I KNOW more than just those six people read my journal. Friday night we had our D&D game and it seemed to go well. Our group started going after the noble house we were hired to "off" and so far so good with that. Looks like we'll be skipping game this coming Friday because Berek is in England (lucky wookie). Saturday the three of us headed out to the Montclair/Ontario area. We made a stop at Linens N Things because I needed a new pillow, but they didn't have what I was looking for. We then went to Golden China for dinner and made a brief stop in the Montclair Plaza mall. I know they carry the pillows I like in Brookstone so I just decided to grab one from there. Unfortunately, I got the wrong kind (I got the one with the neck wedge instead of the regular pillow shaped one). We peeked in Hot Topic and saw some cute baby onesies, but thought if we were to get them we should do so online or get them some other time because the store was super crowded and all the onesies were out of reach. From there we headed to Ontario and made a quick Babies R Us run and then grabbed some drinks at Lollicup and headed back home. On Sunday we made a stop at a Brookstone at the mall in Sherman Oaks (which has now been relagated to a little cart in the middle of the mall while their store is under construction) so that I could exchange the Tempurpedic neck pillow for a pillow shaped one. That one was much better. Oh, and having a new pillow and not a broken down old memory foam one is helping my middle of the night headaches. After the quick mall stop we decided to head to Buca di Beppo for dinner. I haven't been there since before I was diagnosed with GD. Dinner was great (we both missed that place) but Gabriel started acting up so we needed to hold him and try to get him to calm down during dinner. On Monday we headed to Burbank. I made a run into Catherine's to see if they had a cool jacket that I saw on their webpage. They did and I picked it up. We then had dinner at The Olive Garden. Once again, Gabriel fussed during dinner. Looks like we won't be able to go out to dinner much anymore with the way he's been at restaurants recently. *sigh* We don't want to be those people with the screaming baby so it looks like it will be take out time. Meh. Tuesday we just were lazy and hung out around the house. We were both exhausted from Gabriel being constantly fussy (day and night) and didn't have the energy to do anything other than just chill out around the apartment. We did find out why Gabriel has been so fussy though - he's getting his first tooth. One day last weekend we noticed some blood coming out of his mouth. After freaking we saw that there was a cut on his gum. A few days later that cut has something right on the edge of it. It looks like there's a tooth starting to come through there. So, pretty soon we should be able to see Gabriel's first tooth as it pokes above the gum line. No wonder he's constantly screaming. Poor little guy. In other baby news, Gabriel is now officially crawling. He's still creeping, but can sometimes get himself to crawl for a bit before going back to creeping. And he's getting fast. If he sees something he wants (food we're eating, a book, some paper, the cats) he just motors across the floor to get to it. The kid's getting mobile and somewhat speedy. Oh yeah, we're in for it. Gabriel still is not too fond of carrots. He'll eat a spoon or two, then start getting a sour face, and then spit them out and refuse any more. We tried green beans last week and he absolutely hated those. The minute they go into his mouth he makes a sour face and spits them out. He then cries until we make them go away. The only solid food he really seems to like and will eat is the rice cereal. This week we try chicken, I'm hoping that will fare better than the carrots or green beans, but I'm not holding my breath. Chicken was one of my huge aversions during pregnancy. So, I've found out that my frequent and near constant headaches are pill related. When I went on the non-active ones the headache stopped and started back up again when I started the new pack of pills. *sigh* The new pillow is helping with the nighttime ones and Excedrin Migraine is helping with the daytime ones. Well, at least I know where they're coming from. ----------
