From Netter:

1. What was the hardest part of law school? The hardest part for me was the fact that an entire semester's grade for a class hinged on one test... the final. The fact that your performance on ONE test determined your entire grade put a lot of pressure on me. It didn't help when my computer would act up during finals either. The next hardest thing was the extreme lack of sleep. I did all of the reading assignments and pretty much spent my time either reading, studying, or driving to and from school.

2. If you had to choose, would you rather become a vampire or a werewolf? Dragon! Oh, wait, that wasn't one of the choices. Probably a vampire. The immortality thing would be great and I'm not much of a day person anyway.

3. Have you ever counted up all the diapers the Poopchuck has been through to date? Hell no! Let's just say he's been through a lot. More than a lot. Probably more than I could count to. That kids pees and poops like there's no tomorrow.

From Kentuckypine:

1. Do you think the laws of the land are applied equally to all? No, I don't. I think celebrities get off too easily and that a lot of the time minorities get the shit end of the legal stick.

2. Can money buy happiness? I think so. Maybe you can't buy happiness per se, but you can buy stuff and stuff can definitely make you happy. Yes, I am a materialist.

3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? I would absolutely love (if money were not an object) to live in Chicago again. I miss it there and if the housing were as affordable as the Milwaukee area (which is where we're trying to move to now) I'd move back there in a heartbeat. Chicago will always be home to me.

From Reenie:

1. Sunset or sunrise? Sunset. I'm a night person and I hate having to be up at sunrise.

2. You are a book. What is your title? Night of the Living Poopchuck

3. What reality show would you create? Name it. Since "Who Wants To Be A Superhero" was probably the coolest reality show I have ever seen, I'd probably create its nemesis... "Who Wants To Be A Supervillian".

From Wanaki:

1. If you were a superhero, what would your name be? I've been toying with this idea for a little bit now... just in case I ever hear of another casting call for that "Who Wants To Be A Superhero" show. So far, the ideas I've come up with are either a nature superhero (Druidia), a dragon themed one (Draconia), or Super Mom (yes, it's less than original, but it's cute).

2. Do you want to have any more children? I don't know yet. While it would be nice to have a little brother or sister for Gabriel, I don't know if I'm willing to go through everything I went through again. The GD would be worse and I'd probably have to be on insulin during my pregnancy and I'm not okay with that. Also, knowing I'd be walking into another c-section isn't something I want to do again. I'm on the fence about a second one right now. There's no way we would have more than two. Rob and I have decided to wait until Gabriel is three or four to discuss the possibility of a second. We don't want two in diapers or two in college.

3. Will you go back to work when Gabriel gets a little older? Yup. The only reason I'm not working outside the home now is because there's no point in having a job if we're planning on moving out of state sometime in the near future. I'm already putting out feelers and a few resumes in the Milwaukee area. Due to the fact that I'm not licensed there, Rob will probably find something before I do. If that's the case, once we move there I'll do what I need to do to take their bar and spend my time looking for something out there. Hopefully once I'm licensed there it won't take forever for me to find something. I know an attorney out there and my Dad works with some as well. Plus the job market out there doesn't seem to be as over saturated as it is here.

From Judy:

1. What question do you wish someone would ask/had asked you? There really weren't any questions I was hoping someone would ask. I was just super curious to see what questions people could come up with and what people wanted to know about me.

2. If you hate LA so much, how did you come to live here in the first place? I moved out here in 1992 for college at USC. After college I was trying to work as a screenwriter and this was the place to be for that. When I started applying to law schools it was a toss up between Madison and Pepperdine. I really wanted to get out of here and go to Madison, but something told me to stay here for now. I did, and I'm glad I did because if I had gone to Madison I wouldn't be married to Rob. Now that we're together any and all feelings of staying here are gone. I think I was supposed to be out here so that I'd be with him. Maybe being out here was fate's way of nudging me towards my soul mate.

3. Some moms look forward to the next phase of childhood for their kid and some look wistfully at the past, which kind of mom are you? I think I'm a combination of both. I already look back at how Gabriel's grown and am amazed. Now that his first teeth are coming in I know I'm going to miss that big toothless grin. But I'm also really looking forward to the Mommy-Son times I'll have with him. At this point I think I'm the type who is looking forward to all the times we'll have together. I might change when he's older though.

From Johnny317

1. Broccoli or Cauliflower? Broccoli. I like broccoli most of the time and hate cauliflower.

2. Why do doctors call what they do "practice"? I'd like to say it's because medicine is always changing and they're learning new things every day. But it's probably because we the patients are the lab rats of the medical world.

3. If lemon juice is made from real lemons and sugar cookies are made from real sugar, what are girl scout cookies and baby oil made from? Real girl scouts and real babies! I'm keeping Gabriel away from any place that makes baby oil.

From Brainsalad:

1. Assuming that ten years older is not the correct answer, where do you see yourself ten years from now? Living with Rob and a ten year old Gabriel in the suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Working as an attorney, probably in an area I never saw myself practicing in and quite possibly not liking it (I most want to work in either family law, criminal defense, or entertainment/copyright - but I don't see any of those happening). I have a feeling I'll be very happy in my home life and somewhat unfulfilled in my career.

2. What if any political issue do you feel most passionate about and why? I have two that I consider to be the most important. One of them is the environment. It's hotter than hell where I live and the effects of global warming seem pretty obvious to me. I think the government needs to step in and do something before it's too late and the damage that we've done is irreversable. The other one is abortion. I'm very much pro-choice. I think a woman should have the right to choose what happens to her body and if she wants to go through something like pregnancy or not. I fear we might see some big changes in abortion laws in the next few years, and in my opinion they probably won't be for the better.

3. At some point in the next few years, your child will probably be enamored of some children's TV show. Among the following TV shows, which you most like your son be addicted to and why?(none is not an acceptable answer) Bob the Builder, Dora the Explorer, Blues Clues, Thomas the Tank Engine, or The Teletubbies? He's already addicted to Teletubbies thanks to my Mom. *sigh* While it is educational, it's also annoying as all hell. I've never seen any of the other shows so I'm going to go look them up on Wikipedia. Okay, from glancing over the shows on Wikipedia I'd have to say that I'd most like him to watch Blues Clues. While all the programs seem educational, I think it's the one (out of all those listed) that I'd most like to watch with him. I like knowing what he's watching and if I'm going to watch along with him I'd like it to be something that is tolerable to me. Blues Clues seems to be cute and the least annoying.

From Lea:

1. If you had to pick a new name for yourself, what would it be? If I could change my name it would probably be to Modesta. I think it's a beautiful name (with cute nicknames like Dusty) and would be proud to have the same name as both my Mom and my maternal Grandmother.

2. What do you like and dislike about your dad's new wife? Wow, this is a trapped question. I've only met her a few times. Once at the wedding and once for a few hours when Dad and Sheryl visited to see Gabriel. I don't know her that well so this is pretty much based off of first impressions. The main thing I like about her was that she was actually nice to me and my husband and son. She really seemed to like Gabriel and actually held him for awhile until he (he's a little furnace by the way) overheated her. Dad held him out at arm's length for a few seconds, but she actually held him for awhile while sitting and talking to us. She made an effort to try and be nice to all of us and I liked that. She didn't have to touch Gabriel at all, but she did and that was nice of her. The main thing I didn't like about her was that she was a bit prissy. I'm very laid back and she was just... overdressed for the occasion? She had her hair all done and a skirt outfit on and a lot of expensive jewelry and all that. Seemed a bit much for an afternoon with Rob, Gabriel, and myself and a dinner at Olive Garden. I also don't like the fact that I don't know her well and therefore don't know why exactly she's with my father. That bugs me.

3. You can go on all expenses paid vacation with Rob (I watch Gabriel) Where do you go? There are a few places I've always wanted to visit: England, Paris, Romania, and Egypt. Because of the turmoil in the middle east I think I'd wait on Egypt. Paris and Romania would be amazing, but it's probably best to start with an English speaking country. So out of all of those I'd be interested in going to London, England. Besides, if we stayed in London we could spent a day in Paris and I'd be able to hit two of the places I've always wanted to go with one trip.
