2006-10-10 12:37 PM Very Awake Baby Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Exhausted and Sick Read/Post Comments (5) I was still feeling like ass last night, but my car needed to go out and so the three of us headed out to a quick ATM run and grabbed dinner at Subway and brought that back home with us. We worked a bit on a new D&D character that I'll be playing in a side game with just Rob. We had Deal or No Deal on in the background while working on the character and had Heros on in the background while we bathed Gabriel and got him ready for bed. Even though we started getting ready at 9pm, we still didn't get to bed until around midnight. Gabriel slept from about midnight until 4am and then no more. He's been up since 4am. Rob took him in the chair and cuddled him while I made near constant runs to the bathroom with my sickies. When Rob headed to work I took over with the baby. I tried to get a bit of a nap this morning, but that didn't happen. He would doze off in my arms, and then wake up a few minutes after I put him down in either his playpen or crib and start screaming. I'm still sick, but it's getting better. I'm able to keep my fluids up, but I'm not really able to get any rest. I also can't get to the doctors because I have an obligation to watch Gabriel during the day. Ah well, Rob spoke a bit with a doctor at the hospital yesterday and he said what I already knew - drink plenty of fluids and get lots of rest. At least I can get the fluids! We had a scary poopy blow out this morning. There's a reason I call Gabriel the Poopchuck. That kid poops more than any other critter out there. Oy. I swear there's a gateway to the Abyss in his butt. Rob finally got cleared for his vacation time. Now we're waiting to head back from Tina, our catsitter, to make sure she's available for that time. Hopefully she'll get back to us ASAP so we can book our tickets now. If not, we'll probably book anyway and pray she's available to cat sit for us. ----------
