To all who commented yesterday - chill. While I understand you care about my wellbeing (and thank you for that) I don't need to be lectured on when to go to a doctor. I'm an adult and can make the decision on what I need to do for myself on my own. I don't need a doctor for the E-coli... just lots of fluids and it's getting better. I don't need a doctor for bonking myself on the head. Everything is getting better on its own and the dizziness, slurred speech, blurry vision in my left eye, and different sized pupils are all gone. My head only hurts where I banged it now. And I've already contacted Dr. Hill about the problems I'm still having from the surgery. First of all, my healing time is 18 months and I'm not yet out of that range. Keep in mind that my incision was hip to hip. Second, what's happening (while not common) is indeed normal. The only way to fix the problem is with more surgery and there is no guarantee that the problem won't come back from that surgery. This problem will stick with me for good, but hopefully feel better over time.

Last night the three of us stayed in. I was bored for a good part of the night and got a lot of reading done. At 8pm we watched America's Next Top Model and at 9pm we got the Poopchuck ready for bed. We actually managed to go to bed a little after 11pm last night! I think that's a record for us.

Unfortunately, Gabriel did not sleep through the night. He woke up a little after 1am and was fussy. This morning when Rob headed off to work he also wanted no part of sleep. We had a bit of a diaper blow out again this morning, but I came through it without injury.

I think that Gabriel's "maaaaa-ma" the other day was just a coincidence. He hasn't said it since. *sigh* Ah well, hopefully I'll get a "mama" from him soon.

We're pretty much set to head out on vacation soon. We have our plane tickets and Tina has booked us for the time. She'll be meeting with us before we leave for payment and instructions on anything that's changed since she last cat sat for us. Hopefully, Rob will have that job offer before we head out there. Then we can look for a house or a condo. If he doesn't have the job offer we're probably going to look for an apartment. We'd like to make our cross country move in December if it's at all possible. Like I said before, our ideal goal is to be gone by the New Year. Let's see if we can make this happen!

You Are Curling
What you lack in athleticism, you make up for in concentration.
And while curling isn't much more of a sport than bowling, you *can* win a gold medal for it!
