Friday night Berek and Pita came over for D&D. Our characters got the Succubus out of the Dwarven temple and encountered some uppity humans by the entrance of our portal that would take us back to the Abyss. We took care of them and my character (Lystra) decided to show the curious one who kept asking where the portal went to what was in there. She chucked him into the portal and a Glabrezu made short work of him. We delivered the Succubus to Malcanthet and she sent us on another assignment: to retrive a gate key that led to her back yard from a Lich. So, we went back to the Material Plane and headed to the Lich's tower. We encountered two large Bloodhulks and got rid of them. We needed to stop the game there because it was late and we were tired. At the game we had cupcakes to (belatedly) celebrate Pita's birthday.

Saturday morning we had to get up early to get ready and head to Gebhart for a very long hair appointment. I changed colors again. While I liked the light red that I walked out of the salon with the last time, I didn't like the dark bleh blonde it faded to. And so I decided to change it completely and went to a very light buttery blonde. It took a long time, but was well worth it. The entire thing needed to be bleached up, washed out, and then about an hour's worth of conditioning treatments were done so that my hair wouldn't start breaking off and be damaged, then some color was put over it, that was washed out, and it was dryed and styled. I absolutely LOVE it.

We had some excitement at the hair salon. When Rob was getting his hair cut we noticed someone by the car next to his acting very suspicious. They had a long strip of something in their hand, kept crouching down and looking around to see if anyone was watching them, and even tried to take a rock to the car's window. We all agreed it would be best to call the police to make sure nothing bad was going on and so Margie did. They were there very quickly and told the guy to drop what he was holding. Instead of dropping it he raised it up in the air in a threatening manner and the cops kicked it out of his hand, sent him to the ground, and cuffed him. How much of an idiot do you have to be to not drop something the cops tell you to drop? Sheesh. Anyway, after talking to a lot of people and looking inside the car they found out that the keys were locked inside and the guy was trying to open the car. We have no idea why he was acting all suspiciouos if it was his car, but whatever. The cops agreed that calling them was the right thing to do and seemed amused at how amazingly dumb this guy was.

After the salon visit we headed to Babies R Us to pick up some things for Gabriel (formula, teething fishies, and a new bottle warmer) and then made a stop at Lollycup before heading back to our neck of the woods. When we got back to our area we picked some dinner up at McDonald's and headed back home.

On Sunday we took my car out to the Sherman Oaks mall. It was insanely crowded in there. We made a stop at Bath and Body Works for some Wallflower refills that we needed and I also picked up some body wash, lotion, and body spray (Brown Sugar Fig). We then went to Sephora and I got some gloss that I know works well with my new light hair, a powder brush, and some face lotion that Rob needed. After getting what we had come for we got the hell out of there and headed back home. At home we ordered in food from El Torito, gamed, and watched The Amazing Race.

Today is a pretty normal Monday. I'm trying to get laundry done (ideally I'd like to get the towels and clothing done today) and watch/play with Gabriel.
