Gabriel is starting to walk without holding on to anything! The night before Thanksgiving he stood up on his own (which he's been doing for a few weeks now) and just stood there smiling at me. He then took one step forward, another step forward, and fell to his butt. He did this a few times. I think the most steps he got in before crashing to his butt was 3. But still, he's starting to walk without holding onto anything (and he's only 9 months old). Amazing.

Yesterday Rob and I had a big Thanksgiving dinner (and have lots of leftovers). We got a pre-made dinner from the grocery store that only needed to be heated up. There was turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole, and a pie. Yummy.

Gabriel had a bit of a rough first Thanksgiving. He had one head bonk and a reflux episode with curdled formula coming out of his nose. Things definitely took a turn for the better when Lisa and Nick came over. They're in the LA area for a day or two and stopped by to say hi and see Gabriel. We just hung out around the apartment and talked a lot and they got to see Gabriel and play with him for a bit. It was so nice seeing the both of them again. I think it's been close to a year since I've last seen them. When they headed out I had a ton of pregnancy and baby items which I gave to them. They're things we didn't use or things that we only used briefly and that Gabriel doesn't use anymore. Hopefully, the stuff will be useful to them.

This morning we got to get a bit of extra sleep and today we have some errands to run and we're going to try to go over all the quotes from the movers and see if we can decide on who we're going with and what the date of the move will be. I'm really liking this five day weekend so far and Monday is coming up way too fast.
