Gabriel has an annoying new habit. During diaper changes he likes to grab at his butt. When he's pooped this tends to make for a rather big mess. He gets poop all over his hand and then proceeds to touch himself, me, the changing table, the wall, etc. It never fails. Whenever I have a poopy diaper I now have to clean up more than him. I've tried distracting him by giving him something to hold onto during the poopy diaper change, but that only leads to whatever he's holding onto getting covered in poop as he smears it across his butt and then puts it down to get poop on his hand. *sigh*

Last night we stayed in. When Rob got home he brought Subway home for dinner with him and I ran a game for him while we ate. We then did the worksheet for the moving company and Rob sent that in today. We're now waiting to hear back from them so that we can set a date on the move. After filling out the worksheet we watched America's Next Top Model and he ran a game for me.

I got almost no sleep last night and feel like the walking dead today. When Gabriel was sleeping I was making bathroom runs (something I ate didn't agree with me) every fifteen minutes. And then when that subsided Gabriel was up and crying. I think I'll be grabbing a sugar free Red Bull from the fridge soon. Without that I'll probably pass out at the computer.

So far we've had no luck on the Amber front. We haven't been able to find her a new home and all of the no-kill shelters and rescue agencies that friends have been kind enough to provide us the information for haven't ever contacted us back. The only even possible lead we have is the friend of a friend being able to give her a temporary home. I don't want to put this person out, especially when I know it's not a permanent home, but I don't know what else to do. So, another call goes out. We need to find a home for this kitty within a week (two at most) and any help would be greatly appreciated.
