2006-12-17 11:45 PM Vet Appointment and Packing Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Stressed and Exhausted Read/Post Comments (0) Rob's eye is better. We waited it out last night (deciding if it was still bad today then we would head to a doctor if possible) and over time the pain went away and his vision went back to normal. Whew. There's a load off. The last thing we needed during a stressful time like this was the stress of a potential eye injury. Once again we had to get up early this morning and got very little sleep last night. I'm still exhausted and it's manifesting itself in not-so fun new ways every day. Including starting my period even though I'm still on active birth control pills. Joy. Just what I need right now. My stomach is also wonky and I keep having to run to the bathroom. My Mom flew in this morning. Her plane was an hour late because they were going against a 120 mile an hour head wind so the flight took 5 hours instead of 4. She got to our apartment when I was in the shower and when I hopped out I said hello and showed her the new tattoo. She didn't seem too upset about it. We had a 1:30pm vet appointment at the Studio City Animal Hospital for Sydney. He got his yearly check up and shot and his flight certificate for the airplane. My Mom and I took Sydney to the vet and Rob stayed home with Gabriel. After the vet appointment we came home and packed. We got the dining room, linen cabinet, and guest bathroom done. We decided to be done with packing for the night. Besides, we still need to make a run out to the Goodwill donation bin, bathe Gabriel, give him dinner, etc. And now more added stress... there was a large bang in our bedroom and when Rob went to investigate it he found that the rack of my closet fell down. So, my closet cannot be opened and all of my clothes and, well, everything are on the floor. Fuck that, I'll deal with it tomorrow. I DO NOT NEED ANYMORE STRESS RIGHT NOW. It couldn't have waited three fucking days before breaking? Aargh!!!!! ----------
