Donate Weapons of Mass Destruction

I'm currently at my Mom's house and attempting to make a journal entry on a slow dial-up computer where the "H" key barely works. But, it's better than nothing so I'm just happy that I'm able to post.

Tuesday was insane. We had about half of the apartment left to pack and not enough time to do it in. During our packing Rob's toe hit the marble surrounding the fireplace and he fell. Right into a box covered wall. He hit his head, passed out, and I had to slap him back to consciousness. That scared the hell out of me. Thank god that there was a stack of flat boxes up against the wall. I think that's the only reason that he didn't crack his head open. He's doing fine now, but we all had quite a scare when he was knocked into unconsciousness.

We spent the day and the night packing. At 4:30am we were too tired to continue and decided to try and get some sleep. We were going to try and sleep, but Gabriel woke up and we had to be up and getting ready at 7am. The movers arrived at 8am and we were still packing while they were taking things out of the apartment.

The movers finished up around 4:30pm. Once they were done we threw things out, packed up, and took the keys and our gate cards down to the leasing office. We said goodbye to Antonio and Jennifer and they told us if we ever came back to LA that we'd get back into the building with no waiting list.

The limo company sent a big ass SUV to pick us up and the driver was a bit on the scary side. Lots of road rage and he drove like an insane person. But we managed to get to the hotel (The Hilton by LAX) in a good amount of time considering it was rush hour traffic time.

Once we got into the hotel room (one room shared by Rob, my Mom, Gabriel, Sydney, and myself) we ordered up room service (we were all too tired to go anywhere for dinner), watched some TV, and passed out.

Thursday morning we got up, got ready, checked out of the hotel, and took the hotel shuttle over to the airport. We had a ton of bags (4 to be checked, three carry ons, a diaper bag, a cat, two purses, and a baby in a carseat/stroller) so we just used the curbside baggage check in and were able to get our boarding passes there. Normally we take Midwest airlines when flying into Milwaukee, but this time we took Northwest because we needed an airline that had a non-stop from LAX to MKE and also allowed a cat to fly in the cabin with us. After the curbside check in we headed into the airport and went up to security.

Security was a nightmare. I went through first with Sydney. Sydney decided to squirm and I had to have my boarding pass all bunched up in my mouth while trying to hold onto a squirming Syd who kept rubbing against my new (and still painful) tattoo. What pissed me off the most was that no one would help me. There were security people, airport employees, and other travellers all over the place and no one was willing to give me a hand with my squirming cat who several times almost got away from me. I hate people.

After the security nightmare I needed to use the bathroom. Yes, I know this is TMI, but I'm having some very bad non-period bleeding that's near hemorraging level and have been very woozy from blood loss these past few days. I accidently walked into the men's room and didn't even realize it until one of the guys who walked in before me called on it. Oops. We finally made it to our gate and there were no seats at all in the area. In fact, it was so crowded that a lot of people were just sitting on the ground.

Our wait for our flight was somewhat interesting. There was some weird older kid who kept screaming every five seconds or so. The Mom kept freaking out and shaking the kid trying to get her to stop screaming and it only made it worse. Thank god they weren't on our flight.

Eventually we did all board and that went fairly smoothly. Rob, Gabriel, and I were all in a row of three in the very last row on the plane (22 D, E, & F). My Mom was in an aisle seat in the front of the plane (7C). We saw her on occasion when she came back to the bathroom. Gabriel was amazing and was super good on the flight. He slept for most of the time and only woke up for a diaper change, ate some puffs (he loves his puffs and seems to really dig solid food that's not mush), cuted out some people, and went back to sleep. There was a bit of an incident up at the front of the plane near where my Mom was seated. Some jerk stole two bottles of wine from first class and got smashed. He was acting like a douche and kept screaming out "dance party" and dancing. When he was in the back of the plane I saw him hitting on a teenage girl and offering her valium. When we got off the plane, the police were waiting for him.

We all headed down to baggage and I waited with the carry ons, the cat, and the baby while my Mom and Rob got the checked baggage. It took awhile and ours were the last bags off of there. We then made a bathroom run (most of them were closed and some asshole wouldn't let me in even though I explained to him that I was leaking through a tampon) and headed to my Mom's car.

The drive from Milwaukee to my Mom's house in Galena (about three hours away) was brutal. It was drizzling out and foggy for the entire drive. We didn't get out of the airport until after midnight and I had to force myself to stay awake to help my Mom watch out while she was driving. We got back to my Mom's place a little after 4am. There was nothing open for food (or even for gas) on the drive home so I grabbed a sandwich from my Mom's fridge and then passed out.

I slept in today. I was exhausted and I needed it. I didn't even get out of bed until around 2:30pm. But then again I didn't get to sleep until around 5:30am. Once I was up I showered and got ready and we headed out to the grocery store. After grocery shopping we had dinner at a local Greek restaurant and then headed back to my Mom's place.

As of this afternoon our stuff is somewhere in Arizona. For now we get a bit of a breather while our stuff travels across the country. Tomorrow I need to make some calls to various utilities.

I AM STUPID
LMFAO. YOU GOT 11 CORRECT.

OMFG. YOU'RE AN IDIOT. You missed at least one question, and therefore officially have an IQ less than that of a walrus. A dead walrus. I guess you could take the test again and fix your mistakes just to prove it to yourself [and anyone else who looks at your test page], but in my book you'll always be scum.

The VERY Basic Math Test
