I'm glad I took the day off from studying yesterday. I really needed it. Today, it was back to bar review. I spent the day finishing my Torts notecard outline. All of my lecture notes and all of the book material is now in a handy notecard form. Tomorrow I tackle Torts multiple choice.
We've been noticing a lot of hornets around our balcony area. When heading out to get the mail today Rob noticed that there's a hornet/wasp nest set into the area where our front porch light bulb is. Great. He called the landlord to see if it can be removed. Hopefully it will be taken care of soon. The seal on our front door still hasn't been fixed and we're getting a lot of bugs in. I don't want any hornets in the house because I'm horribly allergic to their stings. If I'm allergic, there's a chance Gabriel is as well. No hornets, wasps, or bees please.
I think there's something wrong with our air conditioner. We can't seem to get the house below 72 or so no matter how low it's set. Oh, and apparently there's still some sort of leak from it in the apartment below us.
About a month ago or so the baby birds that were in the nest on our balcony left and so did the parents. Mourning dove babies seem to grow up very quickly. After the nest was empty (with the exception of a ton of bird poop) for about a month, Rob finally took it down. As of today, a new one is being built. I don't know if it's by the same mourning doves or not. I guess our balcony is prime bird real estate. It's pretty cool, except for the vast amount of bird poop that's accumulating out there.
Tonight we watched The Simpsons, American Dad, and Hell's Kitchen. I really like Hell's Kitchen. I gave Gabriel his bath tonight and he's already asleep. This probably means he'll be up and ready to go for the day right around the time Rob and I head to bed. Oy.
