2008-01-05 10:25 PM Hair and Errands Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Tired Read/Post Comments (3) I got some sleep last night, so that's good. I'm still tired, but I'm not drop dead exhausted. My ear is still infected, but so far the natural remedy seems to be working (and working better than the antibiotics did). Hooray for alternative medicine! I got to sleep in somewhat today. Not a lot, I had to get up at 8:30am, but that's two hours more than usual. I'll take what I can get. That extra two hours did me a lot of good. I'm still tired, but no longer exhausted to the point of being cold and shaking and feeling like I'm going to pass out. After getting ready this morning I headed out to my 10am hair appointment. Rob dropped me off and he and Gabriel did some errands (picked up some stuff for me at the drug store and some diapers for Gabe at Babies R Us) while I got my hair done. As usual I got my roots touched up and a trim. The head massage during the shampooing was amazing. I'm so tense that it felt great. I'm really considering finding a place to get a massage one of these weekends. Rob and Gabe picked me up when I was done with my hair appointment and we did some errands. We stopped at an office supply store for me to get large envelopes, more resume paper, pens, and a portfolio. Rob picked up some cookie dough custard at Kopp's. We grabbed lunch. We went to USA Baby to get a new changing table pad (Gabriel ripped through our current one). And we went to the grocery store. When we got home I took a much needed 2 hour nap and Rob woke me up when it was time to get dinner. We went with Indian tonight. Now, I was expecting to get the poopies from it (anything gives me the poopies these days and I knew Indian food would hit me poorly) but Rob and I also had a bad reaction and threw up from it. Hrm, I think we'll hold off on Indian for awhile. Tonight we gamed and I got three loads of laundry done. Oh, and yes, Gabriel definitely said "douche". We use that word around here a lot (in place of jerk or asshole or some other such word) and he seems to have picked up on it. He said it to Rob when Rob was pestering him. Time to watch our language!!! ----------
