Hooray For Friday!

I love Fridays. It means that the weekend is just around the corner and that I have the potential to catch up on some much needed sleep. However, I don't know how much of a chance I'll have to sleep in this weekend. I have a lot of things to get done. Either way, it will be nice to be able to spend some time with Rob even if it is during errands.

In my comments section from yesterday's entry my brother in law asked what I meant by the phrase 'required amount of sleep'. Well, here's the deal. Ideally my body needs 10 hours of sleep, but realisticaly that's not going to happen. I consider the required amount of sleep to be the bare minumim I need in order to function and not be feeling ill from lack of sleep, get a migraine due to lack of sleep, or just be out of it and a zombie all day long. This generally tends to be around 6-9 hours. If I get less than 6, I'm toast. Recently, I'm not even getting that. So, what I was trying to say was that I'm not getting enough sleep to fight off being sick or function at a decent level. In fact, my lack of sleep is probably making my sickies worse. Do I need more sleep? Absolutely. Is it realistically going to happen? Probably not.

Last night we watched Survivor and The Apprentice. Today I'm working on 4 loads of laundry.

I still feel like crap today. Thank god for DayQuil and Vitamin Water.
