2008-03-06 12:15 PM Celery! Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Tired Read/Post Comments (6) Gabriel's new and favorite word is celery. He keeps running all over the place screaming "celery!" and going up to both Rob and I and asking for celery. I keep telling him that celery is wet and tastes like nothing, but he keeps insisting he wants celery. We'll pick some up for him at the store this weekend. I think his obsession with celery stems from The Wonder Pets. As most of you know, he's been able to count for awhile now. Well, today, he started saying part of the alphabet. I love that he's only 2 and is already learning his letters and numbers. Oh and the cutest thing happened. I just changed a poopy diaper and when I was done I got a huge hug and he said "I lala my Mama". Translation: I love my Mama. He is far too cute. Last night when Rob got home from work, we had to make a run out. I went to the drug store to get two birthday cards (one from Rob and me and the other from Gabriel) for my Dad. Then we went to the post office to mail off the cards and some bills. The chicken soft tacos that I made for dinner last night were fantastic! I will most definitely be using that recipe again! Last night we gamed and watched America's Next Top Model. This means that we once again missed Big Brother. Anyone know who got voted out? Sleeping last night was rough for all three of us. Gabriel kept having nightmares and screaming and crying in his sleep. This happened like every 10-15 minutes or so, so we all only slept in short spurts. Rob and I are tired, but even without a good night's sleep Gabriel is his usual spastic self. Today I was supposed to cook chicken and sweet potatoes in a honey mustard sauce, but the sweet potatoes look kinda old and worn and I really don't feel like that for dinner at all. Neither does Rob. So, he'll be bringing some burgers home for dinner when he comes home from work. ----------
