Saturday was our five year wedding anniversary. Five years. Good lord, where did the time go?

Saturday we got our errands done. We stopped by a local store that had a bunch of girl scouts and bought cookies. I picked up my BC Rx at the drug store (used to be $15, under our new insurance it's now $40). We also went to the grocery store for our big weekly shop. Gas prices aren't the only things going up, groceries are getting more expensive as well. Meh.

Later that night we grabbed dinner from Mitchell's (one of our favorite restaurants out here) and brought it home. I got Rob a new pair of comfy PJ's, a D&D book, and a game for his DS. He got me a tiny stuffed salamander and three DVDs that I had been wanting for awhile now (From Beyond, Reanimator, and Bride of Reanimator). We watched the From Beyond DVD. It's been soooooo long since I've seen that movie. I love it and Rob really liked it as well. The last time I saw it I was like 11 or 12 and it's what got me into Lovecraft's writings.

Gabriel didn't go to sleep until around midnight. We didn't get into bed until after 2am! Of course, going to bed late didn't make Gabriel sleep in late and so he was up at 7:30am. UGH!!!!!

Sunday we did a lot of stuff. We made a stop at the ATM and then tried to get more girl scout cookies for my Nana, but they were sold out. We went to the Mayfair mall after that. We have a gift certificate from Williams Sonoma and wanted to use it on a rice cooker. It's a neat 8 cup rice cooker by Cuisinart that also steams veggies on top. They didn't have it in the store, so we had to order it.

While at the mall, we tried to take Gabriel to see the Easter Bunny. As he approached the Bunny in his stroller, he strained to get free so he could head to the Bunny. We let him out and he ran over to the Bunny and stopped a few feet in front of him and just stared. The following conversation ensued:
Rob: Go on and see the Easter Bunny Gabriel.
Gabriel: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
Rob: But Gabriel, it's the Easter Bunny! He's nice. Just like a large bunny from Bunny Town.
Gabriel: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!

So yeah, much like our tries with Santa last Xmas our try with the Easter Bunny failed this year.

After the mall we headed to Bed, Bath, and Beyond were I picked up some cooking supplies. Then we went to Toys R Us and got Gabriel a toy cell phone and a toy push button phone on wheels. He loves them.

We then grabbed some dinner from Taco Bell and headed back home for the night. We tried to game, but Rob was too tired, so we just ended up watching Big Brother and Dexter.

Today my Mom is coming into town. She's going to visit my Nana before heading here, so she won't be at my place until the late afternoon. I'm currently in the process of cooking a turkey shepard's pie for dinner in the crockpot.

Your Score: Smart enough

You scored 120 Intelligence!

You're smart. Did you know the average IQ of a doctor is 116? Yep. You're just right around there. You're cool. I'd probably prefer to hang out with someone like you with this IQ. You're a little above average, but not quite a genius so that you annoy me with useless crap. Stay cool.
