2008-03-17 2:49 PM My Mom Is Amazing Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Bleh Read/Post Comments (0) My mom is by far, one of the most amazing people I know. She came back here yesterday to give me a hand with the baby. Boy, do I need it. She seems to be all better from her bout with the stomach flu. I'm not and Gabriel is not. It would seem that the pukies are over for me. Then again, I've only been eating things like saltines and chicken soup. However, the poopies are still raging full force. Gabriel still has both the pukies and the poopies. We need to find a way to get some calories into him. He's losing weight and he's too skinny to afford any weight loss at all. My knee hurts like hell and because of the poopies and the pukies I can't take the pain pills. On the bright side of things, I'm able to use one crutch (most of the time) to get around. I'm hoping to be able to transfer off of the crutches and onto a cane sometime soon. That would make things so much easier. Last night we watched Big Brother and Dexter. I was able to get a lot of laundry done thanks to the aid of Rob. Today my mom let me sleep in. She knew that I needed the sleep. No matter how much sleep I get I'm still exhausted. I'm wiped and I'm super dizzy and weak. I'm betting that's because of the poopies and pukies. Once again today, I'm able to get a lot more laundry done thanks to the help of my mom. Gabriel is still having the poopies (and lots of poopsplosions) and the pukies. Everything around here is either covered in poop or vomit. Bleh. I can't wait until both Gabriel and I are over whatever stomach bug from hell has hit us both. ----------
