I Hate Spring

Barney's on, Gabriel's bouncing and dancing, so I'm posting.

I hate Spring. Spring brings on my allergies (it will be a long time before I can breathe out my nose again). Spring means that the weather is warming up (not okay with that). Spring means Summer is coming (and I absolutely loathe Summer). Spring also brings the bugs. We've found spiders and weird alien like bugs around the house and already one wasp has come into our screened off balcony. Before I know it, the balcony will be filled with tons of bugs and wasps and I won't be able to open any of the windows because of the wasp problem around here. Fall and Winter can't come back soon enough for me. I'll take the snow if it also means nice cold weather and no allergies or bugs.

Penguin Jen mourns the coming of Spring.

Last night Rob and I started the new game (it went very well and was super fun) and watched Hell's Kitchen. Which means that I'm going to try and have to watch Big Brother online at some point in order to catch up with what's going on. We had take out from Mitchell's for Rob's birthday dinner. My Dad sent a card and a check to Rob, he also got a card and a check from my Mom, and he seems to like the Chumby that I got for him. I think the only downside to his b-day was that work was insane.

Today I'm partying with the Poopchuck and getting four loads of laundry (all of our clothes) done.

I just spoke with a representative from State Farm about my fall last month. He said that they are denying any negligence, but will help pay my medical bills. I just got the first one yesterday and it's close to $400. It would seem that I pay the bill and then they reimburse me for it. He said he would send me further information in the mail. I don't mind them denying negligence, I wasn't planning on suing them anyway. I'm just happy that they're willing to help with the medical bills. Especially since it looks like our insurance isn't covering this.

On the bright side, the pain is now completely controllable with Tylenol, and Tylenol PM is allowing me to sleep and not be woken up by any pain. I'm still using a cane, but I have a feeling that will continue for a time to come.

Oh, as a side note, Gabriel said something rather amusing last night. Rob farted in front of him and Gabriel just looked at him and said "you pooped". Hehehe.
