Gabriel is seriously one weird kid.

On Yo Gabba Gabba, there's a segment where they all get snacks and one of them gets yogurt and doesn't want to eat it because she's never had it before. They all sing and dance and tell her to "try it, you'll like it". She tries it and does indeed like it and is happy that her friend told her to try it.

Whenever we try to get Gabriel to eat anything new (that's not a chicken nugget, cheerios, chex, or chocolate) we do the "try it, you'll like it" song for him. Most of the time, he won't try it. On the occasions he does try it, he doesn't ever seem to like it.

Today, I took him into his room to change a poopy diaper. The conversation went something like this:
Me: Wow, what did you eat? That's a huuuuuuuge poopy.
Gabriel: Try it, you'll like it.
Me (trying not to bust out laughing): No sweetie, Mommy is not going to eat your poop.
Gabriel: Try it Mama!

Yeah. Wow. Our kid is weird.
