Mom got here on Wednesday night. She watched Gabriel while Rob and I headed to the post office and brought home hibachi dinners from Asiana.

Yesterday (Thursday) Rob had a business trip down to Chicago. He left the house before 7am and didn't get back home until after 8pm. My Mom was here to give me a hand for the day. We hung around the house for most of the morning (and she was a saint and let me get some extra sleep) and then we headed out a little before noon.

We stopped off at the McDonald's drive through, grabbed lunch for everyone, and ate in the car. We then took Gabriel to the park for awhile. We both watched him (which was good because he would have had some accidents if we had let him play on his own) and at one point my Mom watched him while I searched the ground for some dropped keys. Gabriel loved his time at the park.

We then took Gabriel out for ice cream (he absolutely loved pumpkin ice cream). We made a run to Toys R Us, but didn't find anything Gabriel really wanted other than a DVD of The Little Mermaid. We went to Babies R Us where Gabriel nearly blew out his diaper with a gianormous poopy. Seriously, it was all up the back, all up the front... everywhere. The diaper barely held it all... but it did hold up and didn't leak. Thank god. At Babies R Us we got some diapers to take to my Mom's house and got Gabriel a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Halloween DVD.

We then ran to Wal*Mart where my Mom got Gabriel a kiddie laptop to play with at her house and a piggy in a car for him to play with at home. We then headed back to the apartment.

As soon as we got home, it was bath time for Gabriel. My Mom gave me a hand with the bath and when he was all clean we ordered in pizza for dinner and watched Survivor.

This morning my Mom stayed until around 11:30am and then headed over to visit my Nana before heading back to her place. Normally I get into a bit of a funk when she leaves because I love having her around. However, in a little over a week we'll be heading out to her place for my birthday and Halloween. Woot!
