Woot and Cute

Mood:
Cold

I'm cold, it's a very weird feeling. Even when the temps got to below zero last winter I never really felt cold. A thick sweater and no jacket was all I needed to feel comfortable outside. But currently, I'm inside and the heat is set to 66 and I'm cold. I know this is a side effect of my sickies (I keep going from overheated to cold), but it's so weird to feel cold when I never usually experience that sensation.

So, on to the Woot and the Cute!

The Woot:

December looks like it's going to be a great month. We're heading to my Mom's place this weekend and will also head out there for New Years. My Dad called me back yesterday and said he's going to try to get us reservations at the Ritz in Chicago for the second weekend in December. Hopefully he'll be getting back to me today with the details. It'll be a crazy weekend (heading into Chicago on a Friday night - ugh) but so worth it to see him! So the two big woots are going to my Mom's place and being able to see my Dad.

The Cute:

Gabriel absolutely LOVES Pokemon. He's going to be getting a lot of Pokemon themed stuff for Xmas, but he got one item early - a Pikachu body pillow. He loves it (it's almost as big as he is) and drags it around the apartment with him. He also like to take one of his red balls and throw it at Pikachu. When Pikachu doesn't get in the "pokeball", Gabriel pouts and says that it's broken.
