2009-01-23 8:21 AM Drawing Faces Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Proud Read/Post Comments (1) It would seem that Gabriel has his father's artistic talents (Rob can draw amazing things and I can draw stick figures... and those are pretty bad). He has a magnetic drawing board and likes to use it a lot. Recently, he's been drawing faces. At first, it started out as smiley faces (a circle for the head, two dots for eyes, and a smiley mouth). Last night, he actually tried to add a nose and hair and then told us it was Flapjack (a cartoon boy from one of the shows he watches). Rob and I were stunned. Not only can he draw faces (very basic, but still, he's not even 3 yet), but he can try to draw faces of cartoon characters he knows and then tell us who he drew. This kid is really amazing. In other news, my sickies seem to be on the mend. Let's just hope I don't get sick a third time. There's still some crap in my lungs and my nose is still stuffy and runny, but it's getting better. MCLEs are hell and I have an all day seminar on condo law on Monday. Ugh. And for some reason, the morning seminar I took the other day isn't showing up as giving me any credits. *bangs head against wall* Hopefully, I'll get credit for it because I did watch the damn thing. ----------
