I've said it before and I'll say it again - Gabriel is weird.

One of our floor level cabinets in the kitchen has nothing in it. It used to have cartons of soda, but one of them sprang a leak and so it's all been cleaned out. The cabinet is clean and empty. Gabriel found this out this morning and decided to climb inside of it with his psyduck. He then closed the door. When I opened it to look in at him he told me he wanted it closed, and closed it once more. So, he's just sitting there in a dark cabinet with the door closed and a psyduck. Weird kid is weird.

Yesterday was long and boring. It was nice having my Aunt Pam around in the morning to help me with Gabriel while I watched my seminar on real estate transactions. She took off around 11:30am because she had a church meeting to go to. Of course, after she left, Gabriel managed to have a poopstorm and make three huge poops between noon and 3:30pm (when the seminar ended). Oy.

I think Gabriel is FINALLY breaking of the binky habit! Woot! Normally he refuses to go to sleep or into the car unless he has his binky. Last night I needed to make a run to the bank and post office and while the binky was with him, he tossed it onto the floor of the car. When offered it, he said no. When asked why, he said it was because he was a big boy. Nice. He also managed to fall asleep last night without it. If he wants to be a big boy, hopefully he'll want to start using the potty sometime in the near future.
