Rob is a saint. He knew how bad off I was this morning (ended up throwing up 4 times among lots of other bad things stemming from exhaustion) and he took the afternoon off so that I could be functional tonight when his parents got into town. He got home, cooked me some rice (which I was able to hold down) and watched Gabriel while I spent the afternoon napping. I'm still very tired, but not nearly as exhausted as I was earlier today.

I napped from around 1:30pm to 4:30pm. Once I woke up I got ready and we headed over to the Comfort Inn and Suites that's down the block from us. We met up with his parents and spent some time in their hotel room. They gave Gabriel two gifts he really seemed to like. One was a Melissa and Doug magnetic toy where he can dress a figure in different clothes. The other is a Lego Thomas the Train toy. Luckily, Gabriel didn't freak out and act scared at Thomas like he usually does, in fact, he seems to like it. It's the large style lego blocks. I think they're called duplos or something like that.

We headed across the street to Thunder Bay for dinner. His parents wanted to try a Friday night Fish Fry. I got a burger and some chicken noodle soup. Dinner was good and Gabriel was (for the most part) behaved. We ate and talked and had a very good time.

When we were done with dinner it started to rain out and another really bad storm was headed our way. We dropped his parents off at the hotel and headed back home.

On our way back home, the horrible storm hit. We could barely see the road.

When we got back home, we gave Gabriel his bath and decided to put a Netflix movie on. We're currently watching "Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus". It is not good. While it has a few cool scenes (like the shark grabbing and airplane right out of the sky and even eating the Golden Gate bridge), the movie itself is horrible. Bad acting and boring. While some of the shark and octopus scenes are indeed neat, it's not worth watching the entire movie for.

Tomorrow we'll be getting our usual weekend errands done in the morning and then meeting up with the inlaws in the afternoon. We're considering taking Gabriel to the Build A Bear workshop if we can find out in the area.
