2009-07-15 8:38 AM Cursed Dinner Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Tired Read/Post Comments (0) I think my dinner was cursed last night. Rob brought food home from the Thunder Bay Grille. We've gotten food from them several times before (and even ate there one night with Rob's parents) and every time their food has been excellent. So, my order last night was the crawfish appetizer. Every other time I've gotten it, it's been fantastic. I'm a big fan of crawfish and was really in the mood for it last night. Rob gets home, we start to eat, and I find that my crawfish are inedible. They were WAY overcooked and some areas of the crawfish were black (and I know they're not supposed to look that way). The crawfish was all rubbery and tasteless and the light coating was so hard it cut my mouth up. They were seriously inedible. So, I decided to grab a Tombstone pizza out of the freezer and make that for my dinner. That didn't work out either. I unwrapped the pizza and there was a super thick coating of "protective ice" over it. We're talking about as thick as the pizza itself. *sigh* So, that was thrown out. Finally I ended up ordering in from Domino's and while that pizza worked out fine, it also messed with my tummy. ----------
In a way, you are a truly balanced person. You have a good sense of self, but you have periods of worry and self doubt. You don't like to be alone a lot, but you don't like being constantly surrounded, either. You can be shy in some situations and bold in others. You can tell people how you feel, but you don't wear your heart on your sleeve. You aren't "TOO" anything: You aren't too shy, you aren't too aggressive, you aren't too extroverted, you aren't too introverted. However at any one time you can be any combination of these things.
