This last week was super fun. Rob took the week off of work and we headed to my Mom's house for my birthday, then back home to take care of Sydney and get some errands done, and then back to my Mom's for Halloween. Unfortunately, the vacation is now over, Rob's back at work, and it's back to the same ol' thing. This week is gonna suck, especially since Rob isn't going to be working from home this Wednesday, so I need to find some other time to get my errands and chores done. Ugh.

On Thursday we drove back out to my Mom's place. The drive out was uneventful and we made a stop at a gas station for a bathroom run (and for Gabriel to get some cookies) and then stopped at a Chinese place for lunch and ate in the car. We got to my Mom's place around 3:30pm, chilled out for awhile, and then headed out to Los Aztecas for dinner. Gabriel really seemed to like their quesadilla. When we were done with dinner we made a Wal*mart run and then headed back to my Mom's place for the night and watched Survivor.

On Friday we did some errands and then Gabriel got into his costume (he was a spider this year) because Galena was doing their trick or treating on Friday night (the Halloween parade there is always on a Saturday, so they had to make the trick or treating the night before). Gabriel had a blast and could be heard yelling at the top of his lungs "I love Halloween", "I love trick or treating", "I love candy", and "I'm Jack, the Pumpkin King". It was too cute. A lot of people really liked his spider costume and he got a fairly good haul of candy that night.

We grabbed dinner at Dirty Gurts and then trick or treated in two areas and then headed back to my Mom's place for the night. We each wore a glow stick bracelet so we could find each other. I took blue, Rob took green, my Mom took yellow, and Gabriel took orange.

On Saturday Gabriel decided that he wanted to wear his spider costume all day long. So, he did. We did some running around in Dubuque (Wal*mart, Borders, etc.) and then headed to Chinese for dinner. After dinner Gabriel got to do some trick or treating in Dubuque (they were doing it on Halloween night). He didn't do much before wanting to stop. I think he liked the Galena trick or treating better.

Once again, we did the glow bracelets so we could find each other. My Mom wanted yellow again, Rob took blue this time, I took orange, and Gabriel took green. When Gabriel decided he was done trick or treating, we headed back to my Mom's place.

On Sunday we got ready and headed back home. We grabbed some food from the Chinese place on the way home and the drive back was unventful. When we got back home we unpacked and took my car out (yay, it started) to grab a take and bake pizza from Papa Murphy's. We watched The Amazing Race and did some gaming.

I'll probably be posting some pics from last week sometime this week. But, for now, you'll have to check out my Envisage photoblog. I just sent in all of my catch up pics, so they should be up there sometime today.

Left Sided

Your left side of the brain is more dominant than your right side. Usually, you tend to be logical and more of a thinking type. Left sided people are really reliable, and well organized. You are probably really good in school, and are probably really good at math, and/or science. You go by a routine, and dont like to have it spontaneously interrupted, unless you really need a break. You get things done, and you dont just forget about it and leave it unfinished. You'd rather be told how to do something other than someone demonstrate it. You tend to look at the whole picture, rather than details, because it needs to look good as a whole, not just in seperate parts.

Is Your Brain More Left Sided Or Right Sided?
