2009-12-26 9:43 PM The Day After Xmas Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Content Read/Post Comments (0) Yesterday was amazing. We didn't do much, but it was amazing nonetheless. Mom was here, gifts were exchanged, a turkey dinner was had, and we opened (and finished) a bottle of Jordan Chardonnay. We spent the entire day in the apartment and it was a great day. It was just nice to spend a non-hurried day inside with those I love. That's why I love the Christmas season - I get to spend some down time with the people I love. There's nothing that makes me happier than being around Rob, Gabriel, and my Mom. My Mom went to visit with my Nana this morning and then headed back to her place. Even though it was icky out, she made it back home just fine. Today was time for Rob, Gabriel, and I to get our weekly errands done. It was nasty out and driving in this weather was not fun for Rob or myself. It was snowing and slippery, but we both drove very carefully. We made a run to the drug store so I could pick up one of my scripts, to Walgreens for some needed items, and to Pick N Save for our main grocery shop. We headed to Schlotzsky's Deli and got some soup and sandwiches for dinner and brought those home with us. We then did some gaming and now we're trying to get Gabriel to get tired and go to sleep. That's not going to happen anytime soon. Not only did he sleep in until 9:30am this morning, but he also took a nap in the cart at the grocery store. So, it's going to be awhile before he gets sleepy and as long as he's awake, Rob and I have to be awake. It's going to be a long night. At least we don't have to get up for anything tomorrow. In fact, we're not even sure what (if anything) we're going to do tomorrow. ----------
