Yesterday (for the most part) was a very good day for Gabriel. The only real problem he had was in the morning when we took my Mom's car into the dealer. He was in my car and she was in hers and he did not like being separated from her. He kept telling me that it was his birthday and he wanted his Nana. Once he saw that she was heading to our car after dropping her car off, he was much better.

After dropping her car off we headed to the local bakery and picked up Gabriel's birthday cake. It's a chocolate cake with vanilla custard filling and white buttercreme frosting. It says "Happy Birthday Gabriel" and has a picture of Echo Echo (from Ben 10) on it.

We then chilled out at home for a bit and headed out to lunch a little before 11am. We went to Fuddrucker's for lunch since it's one of Gabriel's favorite restaurants. He loved it. When lunch was done with we took him to Toys R Us. He said he wanted a shopping spree there, so that was my Mom's gift to him. He picked out a pack of Ben 10 characters, a TAG reader for at home, 3 TAG books (Ni Hao Kailan, Scooby Doo, and Handy Manny), Diego's rescue pack, an electronic thing that helps kids learn how to write letters, some paper, some washable markets, etc. He made out well and was super happy with being able to head into a toy store and just say what he wanted - and get it. He wasn't too greedy and he got a lot of educational toys, I'm so proud of him.

From there we headed back to the dealer so my Mom could pick up her car and then we headed back to our place and chilled out for the rest of the afternoon.

Rob left work an hour early and when he got home we got ready and headed out to dinner. We went to Chuck E Cheese and were able to get a table right next to the animatronic rat. We had pizza and Gabriel got an inflatable birthday crown and he had a great time. When dinner was done with we headed out and took Gabriel through a car wash on the way home. I know, it sounds weird, but Gabriel LOVES to go through car washes and when Rob was getting gas he asked for it. How could we say no?

When we got home Gabriel got to open his presents from us (5 2-packs of Ben 10 toys, Echo Echo, a stuffed dog, a stuffed bear, and a Squishable mouse) and we had the cake. We watched Survivor and some of the Olympics and at one point Gabriel made the comment of this being "the best birthday ever". Of course, he's only had 4 and probably doesn't remember most of them, but it was nice to know that he had a great time.

This morning my Mom headed out around 9:45am. Gabriel was not happy to see her leave. She's heading over to visit with my Nana and then she'll be heading back home.

You Are the Alarm Clock
You don't have much of an opinion on mornings. No matter whether you like them or hate them, you have to get up.
Your mornings tend to be a bit of a rushed affair. You have to be out the door by a certain time, and you have to hustle.

You are not a big fan of wasting time, and the morning is no exception. You have a lot to get done, and it's time to get cracking.
It's fair to say that you're on autopilot during the wee hours of the day. You have mornings down to a science.
