It's one of the middle ribs on my back side and it hurts like hell. They don't tape it up anymore (which is a good thing, I have no idea how they would do that around my boobs) because of lung worries (especially since I'm asthmatic). They get worried about having a lung collapse or getting pnemonia. So, once an hour, I need to either take a super deep breath or cough, even though it hurts like hell to do so. I've learned how to move and not move to minimize the pain, but even breathing hurts. During the day I'm treating it with a Tiger Balm patch and some advil. At night, I'm fine with the harder pain killers. I just don't like taking those during the day because they make me so loopy. Right about now, I'm very happy that I have a rather high pain tolerance. How did I break it? That's a bit... embarassing. I wish I could say I was doing something cool, but alas, I wasn't. It got mildy injured (bruised) during some, *ahem*, "adult" activities. Then, that night, I got kicked in it - hard - by Gabriel in the middle of the night. So, last weekend was pretty much like a normal weekend. Lots of errands and the like. On Saturday morning I headed out to the post office and bank. We got lunch at Sonic and then headed to the game store so that Rob could get this months D&D book. We then headed to the drug store for a script. We made a stop off at home and headed out once more. This time we went to Menard's, another drug store, and Pick N Save for our main grocery shop. Oh, I forgot to mention, our new entertainment center was delivered on Saturday morning. It looks great and Gabriel can no longer touch the DVD player. Yay! Later that night we got Chinese for dinner and watched our Netflix DVD of Saw 6. It was actually rather good, but you really need to have seen all of the other ones to understand what's going on. Sunday morning we spent around the house. Gabriel played on his netbook, Rob played on the Wii, and I got some things done online. We headed out in the afternoon to Kohl's so that Rob could pick up his laptop. We're under a winter storm warning and he wanted it at home in case he couldn't make it into work on Monday morning. After that we went to Hallmark and then picked up dinner from Red Lobster. Later on we gamed a bit and watched The Amazing Race. We did get some snow last night and this morning (and it's still snowing out now), but it wasn't nearly as bad as the forcast thought it was going to be. So, Rob made it into work after all. ----------
