Today is one of Rob's work from home days, so we had Gabriel's 4 year check up scheduled for noon today. That way Rob could come along with us for the appointment and watch Gabriel while I checked in, payed, and filled out the questionnaire.

The appointment went rather well. Our only concern about Gabriel was that while he pees in the potty the vast majority of the time, he's still pooping in his pants. She said this was normal and that it would do more harm than good to push him. Usually this resolves itself between the age of 4 and 5, but she's seen a kid wait until she was 6 to poop in the potty. So, it's just a matter of Gabriel being ready and us being patient. She agreed with me that we should keep him in pull ups for now and not switch him to regular underpants because the regular underpants could cause him to just hold it in for too long.

All seems to be going fine with Gabriel and as usual, he's a short and skinny kid. He was 39 inches tall (3'3") and weight in just below 32 pounds. Unless he gets sick, he's not due for another appointment until he's five.
