I'll post another day about my weekend activities. Suffice to say it was rather busy and I'm too sick to post about it.

Last night, we brought home take out from Red Lobster. I'll spare you the gory details, but I ended up getting a rather severe case of food poisoning. It started last night and it's still going strong. I couldn't even get out of bed for most of the day. Rob (and his boss) are amazing and he was able to take today as a work from home day since there's no way I could have been functional enough to take care of Gabriel on my own. Hell, I couldn't even take care of myself on my own. No med seems to be helping and right now I'm guzzling Powerade Zero to make sure I don't get too dehydrated and Rob is cooking me up some Mrs. Grass soup to see if I can keep that down.

I hate being sick, especially when it's this sick. The last time I was this sick was about two years ago or so when I came down with a particularly nasty bout of the flu.

I talked to the doctor today and he's said there's not much you can do other than to let it run it's course because my body needs to get everything out. Ick. If I can't hold down the liquids (which I seem to be doing fine with so far), then I'll need to head to the ER for some fluids and possibly anti nausea and anti diarrhea medication if it gets too bad. Hopefully, it won't come to that.

Apparently, with one exception, I'm a textbook case of salmonella.

Nausea? Yes.
Vomiting? Yes.
Abdominal Pain? Yes.
Diarrhea? Yes.
Fever? Yes.
Chills? Yes.
Headache? Yes.
Muscle Pains? Yes.
Blood in the Stool? No, and I'm hoping that doesn't change.

So yeah, this sucks.
